Previous Next. Dec 17, 26 0 0. Every once in a while I run a program known as Evidence Eliminator on my Windows XP system to just clean up free space and old files. If installed from a network browse to blah blah blah blah you get the point Anyway I throw in my CD "CD1" and it already knew it had been installed from CD on drive H: so I click ok and it started to act like it was going to do something then stopped and asked for the disc again, wanting the same file.
CAB on the CD looking for even hidden files and it found nothing. I then went into the CD and manually eye balled the contents looking for the file. It must be a problem with the local cache install, and I guess you can only solve it by reinstallation. Click Start, and then click My Computer. Click Folder Options on the Tools menu.

Having had a look around it does seem to be a very stressfull problem for a lot of people.

CAB files, etc. Microsoft should be ashamed of themselves. Posted January 17, Thanks Andavari, Thanks for your time, but when i try to copy the files across to my folder it say's it "Can't read from source file or disk". I am not a computer wizkid, so hope i'm not missing something obvious am i?
